
In high school golf action the Lincoln Trail Conference Railsplitter was Wedensday at Oak Run for both the boys and girls.
On the boys side, Ridgewood took first place shooting a 313.
Williamsfield came in second with 344, while Mercer County took third combining for 348.
Mid-County was fourth (354), United fifth (373), Annawan-Wethersfield sixth (400), Stark County seventh (409), and West Central in eighth (483).
Medalist honors went to Thomas Bumann of Ridgewood – who carded a 73.
For the girls, it was United taking the top spot with 435, while Mercer County shot 454 for second, and Annawan-Wethersfield was third 617.
Mid-County, Princeville, Stark County, West Central, and Williamsfield did not field full teams – however Mid-County’s Elizabeth Whitford did earn medalist honors carding a 90.

The Macomb’s ladies defeated the Knoxville girls golf team 160-204.
Hollan Wright led the Blue Bullets carding a 28 while Dedra Ratermann shot a 49, with Kyli Luptak a 53, and Kaylyn Stearns a 54.
The Bombers’ Emma Thorman earned medalist honors when she shot a 33.
