
The Lombard Girls baseketball teams split their games with Kewanee Visitation last night.
The 7th graders were edged out 26-23. The Zephyrs were led by Taylor Glas who had eight points.
The 8th Graders were able to get a solid 32-26 win in their game.
Lombard’s Abby Endthoff led with 14 points while Mariella Snell added 9 of her own.

It was a tough night for the Churchill 7th Grade girls as they were crushed by East Peoria 58-18.
Cayman Milroy was able to find the net – leading the Blue Streaks with 12 points.
The 7th Graders fall to 12-6 on the year.
The 8th Grades faired much better, leading at the end of every quarter and winning 27-22.
Abby Lingafelter led the Blue Streaks with eight points, while Grace Nelson had seven and Kadynce Lydic had six.
The Blue Streaks will be on the road Thursday when they travel to Dunlap.

VOLLEYBALL
At the Class 3A Monmouth-Roseville Regional it was Macomb coming back to beat the Titans in three sets: 7-25, 25-21, 25-23.
Monmouth-Roseville’s Cora Neal led the Titans in service points with 13 while Carly Gillen had nine kills, and two aces.
Kaylee Woodard had 10 kills and 20 digs for the Titans.
Mackenzie Connell racked up 14 assists and two blocks while Delaney Woodard had 11 assists.

At the Princeville Regional it was Williamsfield over Henry-Senachwine in two sets: 25-20, 25-13
At the West Prairie Regional Elmwood swept South Fulton 25-17, 25-15 ; and Brimfield beat Bushnell-Prairie City 25-18, 25-19
At the Wethesfield Regional Galva defeated ROWVA in two sets: 25-20, 25-21 ; and Annawan crushing DePue: 25-5, 25-8
Class 2A
At the Knoxville Regional it was North Fulton sweeping Stark County: 25-17, 25-12
At the West Central Regional it was Mercer County over Warsaw: 27-25, 25-17
At the Sherrard Regional it was Alleman over Ridgewood in two: 25-17, 25-21

MEN’S SOCCER
The Knox Prairie Fire men’s soccer team kept their perfect conference record intact with a 1-0 victory over Lake Forest.
Knox and the Foresters played scoreless for over 70 minutes before the Prairie Fire broke through with a goal from Lucas Sanchez in the 74th minute. Jun Min picked up the assist.
Knox will battle St. Norbert on October 28 in another tough road matchup to see who will host the Midwest Conference tournament.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
The Prairie Fire women’s soccer team defeated Illinois College 2-0 on Monday evening.
Kayla Brown scored off a feed from Briana Quintana early in the match, and the score would remain that way for most of the game.
At the 78th minute of play, Alyx Farris netted her first career goal off an pass from Yvette Rodriguez.
The Prairie Fire will travel to St. Norbert on October 28 with the winner getting the chance to host the Midwest Conference Tournament.
