Galesburg couldn’t get it done tonight as they suffer their first conference loss to Rock Island, 58-24.
Streaks suffered 22 turnovers and also committed a couple fouls. Rock Island also committed many fouls but the Streaks just could not take advantage of it from the free-throw line.
Tonight’s Dave’s Autobody Crunchtime Player of the Game tonight was Lauryn Campbell. She came off the bench and scored a couple points and got a couple rebounds.
No Silver Streak scored in double-figures tonight as Emily Meinert had 6 points.
Streaks move to 3-2 on the season as Rock Island moves to 5-0 and are undefeated this far.
Silver Streaks’ girl’s will be back in action on Saturday with a game against Danville Schlarmann.
