Galesburg Silver Streaks Boys Basketball vs Chicago Marshall Commandos

The Galesburg Silver Streaks boys basketball team is now 3-0 continuing a busy weekend in their Thanksgiving Tournament.  In the first of two games today, GHS defeated the Chicago Marshall Commandos out of the Public League 55-41.

The Silver Streaks shot very poorly in the first quarter, but the Commandos aided by committing nine first quarter turnovers.  It was just 8-2 at the quarter.  Then, Justin Endthoff came off the bench and lifted the Streaks, with three straight three-pointers, to earn our Dave Auto Body “Crunch Time Player of the Game.”  Galesburg built a 19 point halftime lead, and ended up winning.

Khalil Hodge led the Silver Streaks with 16 points.  Jacob Carl was in double-figures with 10.  He also led the Silver Streaks in rebounding with 8.  Erik Price and Andrew Anderson each had seven rebounds for the Silver Streaks.
