Tracy L. Butts, age 48, of Knoxville, Illinois died at 8:31 P.M. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois.He was born September 5, 1969 of Galesburg, Illinois the son Harold and Lois Jean Mudd. He attended and graduated from Knoxville High School in 1988. He married Tracey Christy on April 25, 1992 of Wataga, Illinois.
Surviving is his wife, Tracey of Knoxville, Illinois; two sons: Justin Michael Butts of Knoxville, Illinois and Michael Andrew Butts of Galesburg, Illinois; two brothers: Jeffrey Butts of Galesburg, Illinois and Jimmy (Jane) Mudd of Jacksonville, Illinois; his father, Harold Butts of Galesburg, Illinois and his grandmother, Barbara Everett of Knoxville, Illinois. He was preceded in death by only his mother.
He worked as a truck driver for twenty-two years for Cox Transfer in Eureka, Illinois, then as a forklift operator at United Facilities in Galesburg, Illinois.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes and Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois, with Rev. John Knueppel officiating.
