The Galesburg boy’s basketball team finished off a double-header sweep at the Taylorville Holiday Tournament, going 3-0 in the Gold pool, with a 60-47 win over a good Dunlap team.
Silver Streaks improve to 11-2 on the season, led by 3 players in double-figures as Khalil Hodge had 14, Quinn Anderson had 11, and our Dave’s Autobody Crunchtime Player of the Game, Jacob Carl had 10 as he was a tremendous steadying influence for the Silver Streaks.
Galesburg will play at 1:30 in the afternoon in the Semi-Final bracket play with the opponent yet to be determined as we will find out later when Taylorville battles Sterling and face one of those two teams.
