Guadalupe Santos “Lupe” Interial, 85, of Galva, passed away at 2:48 p.m., Friday January 19, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25 at Rux Funeral Home in Galva. Fr. John Burns will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Galva Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. John Catholic Church in Galva.
She was born December 20, 1932 in Zaragoza Coahuila, Mexico, the daughter of Gilberto Santos de Luna and Teresa Rodriguez. She married Victor Interial on May 17, 1953 in Zaragoza Coahuila, Mexico. He survives as do their children, Victor Interial, Frankie Interial, Lucy (Van) Appenheimer, Cesar (Tracy) Interial and Rosie (David) Robinson, all of Galva, ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a sister, Conchi Flores. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Lupe was a member of St. John Catholic Church. She loved flowers, doing word search and caring for others which extended over the years to her son Victor.
