Almost a year after voters approved the formation of a mental health board and the implementation of a sales tax increase to go with it, the Knox County 708 Mental Health Board is ready to accept applications for grant funding. Greg “Chops” Bacon is the board’s chairperson, and talked with Will Stevenson on Galesburg’s Evening News about the application process.
