Francis M. Kelso, age 64 of rural Gilson, Illinois passed away at 12:22 A.M. on Monday, March 25, 2017 at Cottage Hospital in Galesburg, Illinois.Francis was born on December 28, 1953 in Dahinda, Illinois the son of Wilbert and Naomi R. (Jones) Kelso. He married Marlyn P. Sargent on August 28, 1979 in Dahinda, Illinois.
Surviving is his wife, Marlyn Kelso of rural Gilson, Illinois; his children: Naomi (James) Kelley of Gilson, Illinois, Delores Kelso of Gilson, Illinois, Shannon Kelso of Galesburg, Illinois, Angel Johnson of Gilson, Illinois, April Johnson of Gilson, Illinois, and Austin Kelso of Gilson, Illinois; four grandchildren: Molly and Skyler Kelley, Leslie and Colton Ferguson. His brothers, Henry “Hank” (Phyllis) Kelso of East Galesburg, Illinois and Bert Kelso of Galesburg, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Lester and Glen and a sister-in-law, Brenda.
He worked doing many odd jobs in the area.
Graveside Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 29, 2018 at the Trenton Cemetery in Rural Dahinda, Illinois, with Bobbie Jo Barnes officiating.
