At the time of Monday’s “Galesburg’s Evening News” broadcast on WGIL, Illinois State Police troopers were taking part in a special enforcement detail that was part of a nationwide effort to get people to use their seat belts. Illinois State Police Trooper Jason Wilson tells us that more specialized patrols will continue through Memorial Day.
