Mr. Stephen E. “Steve” Miller, 60, of Galesburg, Illinois died 2:06 a.m. August 6, 2018 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg. He was born October 16, 1957 in Galesburg to Carl E. and Lois M. Richardson Miller.
Surviving is his parents, Carl and Lou Miller of Cameron, Illinois, a daughter, Chandra (and Korey) Brown of St. Charles, Missouri, a sister, Karen (and Sam) Rowe of East Galesburg, a special friend, Maurita Hathaway of Pekin, Illinois a nephew, Andrew (and Megan) Rowe of Galesburg and a niece, Lindsey (and Jacob) Peterson of Galva, Illinois.
Steve graduated from Galesburg High School in 1975. He worked for his father at Concession Specialist in Galesburg for several years until he became disabled. He was a member of Coldbrook Christian Church, Cameron, Illinois. He was a member of the Overlanders 4×4 Club. He enjoyed playing darts and pool and was in several different leagues in the area. He was a Chicago Bears fan.
Cremation will be accorded as Steve had requested. A “Celebration of Life” visitation will be 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Service Galesburg Chapel. A private committal service will be held in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg. Memorials may be made to OSF Sister’s Charity or OSF Richard Owen Hospice House.
