Miss Michelle Nicole Bartlett, 30, of Galesburg, Illinois died Friday August 17, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Loyola University Medical Center.Michelle was born December 5, 1987 in Galesburg to Robert Gene and Debbie Rhea (Rowland) Bartlett.
She is survived by her mother, Debbie (Junior) Peacock of Knoxville; her father Robert Bartlett; her brother, Ryan (Jennifer) Bartlett of Washburn, Illinois; stepsister Shawna Peacock, maternal grandparents Howard and Cornelia Rowland of DeLong, Illinois; nephews Colin and Gavin Bartlett; niece Ayva Bartlett and Step niece Janiyah Davis.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents.
Michelle was raised and educated in Galesburg, graduating from Galesburg High School in 2006. She attended Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Michelle enjoyed her job at Menards in Galesburg and the friends that she made while working there. In her free time Michelle was very social. She loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She will be remembered amongst her friends for board game nights. Michelle’s sunny disposition and infectious personality will truly be missed by those she met.
Funeral services will be held 9:00 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel. Pastor Mary Runge will be officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018. Cremation will take place following the funeral services. Memorials may be made to the family of Michelle N. Bartlett.
