Having a child in middle school may not seem like a big deal, but a parenting expert says it is. Michelle Icard is the author of Middle School Makeover, which helps parents raise middle schoolers, including tips parents may not think of. Icard was the keynote speaker at Monday night’s United Way of Knox County “Celebrate the Journey” dinner, and spoke with Will Stevenson on Galesburg’s Evening News.
