2 rail workers seriously hurt in Chicago explosion

Authorities say two railroad workers were seriously hurt in an explosion near a Chicago station. Metra and public safety officials say the men were doing track work Saturday morning on the city’s northwest side near the Grayland Station when there a blast. The workers were taken to a hospital. Officials say the workers were using torches to repair the tracks. It’s not clear what caused the explosion.
