The Knox-Galesburg Symphony presents Masterworks 2 “Stars Over Paris” this Saturday night at the Orpheum Theater. Guest conductor and KGS conductor candidate Alexander Platt will lead this weekend’s performance. Maestro Platt has conducted all over the country and in Europe as well. He now makes his home in Chicago. Alexander spoke with Tom Meredith on “Galesburg’s Morning News” about his background and this weekend’s show.
