A new exhibit at the Doug Oberhelman Caterpillar Visitors Center in Peoria details how Caterpillar and other companies Cat has since absorbed worked to build the Panama Canal. The exhibit is called “From Steam to Diesel: Building the Panama Canal,” and starts Friday.
