Larry Cox, who retired several years ago after a long career as Public Works Director in Galesburg among other roles, is looking to get back into public service by becoming Ward 7 Alderman. Incumbent Alderman Jeremy Karlin is not seeking another term, but has endorsed fellow attorney Ashley Worby in the consolidated election Tuesday.
