Some listeners have told us they’ve heard that Galesburg is under a city-wide boil order, because of flooding at the city’s major water treatment plant in Oquawka. There is flooding in the area; and Galesburg Public Works Director Wayne Carl says it has impacted operations, but not enough to warrant a boil order.
