
Along with other districts, Knoxville District 202 is winding down their school year. This is also the time the districts are working on their budgets for the upcoming fiscal year. With that, there may be a delay in the property tax revenue from the county. This would leave the district with a large deficit for the upcoming budget but a large windfall for next year. either way, they know it is money they will receive. District 202 superintendent Steve Wilder joined Tom Meredith on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about that and things going on in Knoxville schools.
