The beneficiary of the annual raffle at the “Taste of Galesburg” Thursday was the annual West Central Illinois “Out of the Darkness” walk. The walk this year is September 14th at Lake Storey Park, and is a means to help bring awareness to suicide and how to prevent it, as well as remember those who took their own lives. Chastity Smith is one of the organizers of the walk, and talked with Will Stevenson Thursday night on Galesburg’s Evening News during the Taste.
