Mike “Big Mike” Martinez (on the right in the photo) is a Galesburg native and Carl Sandburg College student, and has Spina Bifida. He speaks annually on campus about what life is like with the affliction. Mike is raising money to purchase a new, stand-up wheelchair that he says will change his game considerably. “Big Mike” and his fiancee’, Kendra Stanley, tell Mike’s story to Will Stevenson on Galesburg’s Evening News.
