Eight firearms were reported stolen from a Farnham Street home this week.
Galesburg Police officers were dispatched to the 700-block of Farnham for the earlier burglary on Wednesday at around 8:40 am.
The resident told police that someone had gained access to his basement and trashed it, also getting into his gun safe and taking the guns.
According to the police report, the gun stolen include:
- FIE .22 caliber revolver
- Marlin .357 caliber rifle
- Röhm Gesellschaft 22LR caliber derringer
- Röhm Gesellschaft .22 caliber revolver
- Raven .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol
- Glock 9mm semi-automatic pistol
- Ruger 22/22 caliber magnum
- Ruger 9mm semi-automatic pistol
The resident indicated that several individuals had access to the basement over the last several weeks.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
