Warren County Sheriff Martin Edwards has released more details today about the shooting death of 43-year-old Jesse Porter over the weekend in rural Little York.
Edwards says an initial investigation determined that Porter was shot by 71-year-old Sondra Porter, the victim’s mother, whom he shared a home with.
Officers were already responding to the area for a domestic disturbance reported by Sondra Porter.
She was interviewed by detectives and later released, although information has been forward to the Warren County State’s Attorney to determine what further actions may be taken in this case.
Warren County deputies responded to the address at 11:16 p.m. Saturday night.
No further details are being released at this time.
