Mrs. Patricia Elaine “Pat” Webber, 92, of Galesburg, Illinois passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Patricia was born on January 22, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Harley and Maude (Bushong) Snell. She was lovingly raised by Lavelle and Lucille Bushong. Patricia married Theodore R. “Ted” Webber, Jr. on September 21, 1946, in Galesburg and shared a life together for 64 years. He preceded her in death on January 14, 2011. She is survived by her son, Kevin (Pam) Webber of Galesburg and her two daughters, Shelly (Steve) Bray of Monticello, Illinois and Kimberly (Mike) Allen of Peoria, Illinois; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sons, Terry Webber and Steve Webber.

Pat lived in Galesburg most of her life. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1945. Pat stayed home with her five children; she blessed her family with devotion throughout her life. Family gatherings were at the top of her favorite things to do. They brought her such joy. Along with her impressive trivia skills, she enjoyed daily crossword puzzles, Wheel of Fortune and Family Feud. Her quiet strength, humble spirit, and fortitude throughout her life were defining traits. Her witty remarks, giggle and sly facial expressions with those piercing blue eyes brought laughter and smiles. She also was sure to express appreciation to those who helped her, especially as she got older. Her gratitude was heartwarming. Pat modeled the gifts of hospitality, living simply and being content. She enjoyed volunteering in various capacities such as Galesburg Cottage Hospital and met regularly with the “45ers Club”. Pat was a member of the First United Methodist Church; her favorite hymn was “How Great Thou Art”. She can now sing her praises in heaven.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2019, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel. Rev. Curt Lipe will officiate. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. at the chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Galesburg.
