Mrs. Patricia S. “Patty” (Healey) Sauter, 67, of Matherville, formerly of Galesburg, Illinois died 3:54 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Unity Point Trinity Hospital, Rock Island, Illinois. She was born December 15, 1952, in Galesburg to John and Margaret “Shirley” (Cissell) Healey. She married Lyndon Sauter, July 31, 1997, in Galesburg. He survives. Also surviving is a son, Temujin Miller of Galesburg, three daughters, Michelle (and Jeff) McCarthy of Galesburg, Rayne Miller of Matherville, and Annalisa Wagoner of Galesburg, a brother, John Michael (and Betsy) Healey of Morrison, Colorado, a sister, Carol Neckolaishen of Knoxville, Illinois, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Daniel M. Healey. Patty graduated from Galesburg High School in 1970. She was a homemaker and lived in Galesburg most of her life. She was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. No matter the circumstance, she loved and treated her children equally. As Patty requested, cremation will be accorded. A private graveside service will be Monday, January 13, 2020, at East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg.
