CHICAGO (AP) – Five Chicago police officers have been taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries after two vehicles they were riding in crashed into each other. The department says three officers in an unmarked vehicle and the two others in a squad car were responding to call to assist other officers who had made a traffic stop on the city’s South Side when their vehicles crashed at about 11:40 p.m. on Thursday.
