
Knox County Sheriff David Clague, whose term as president of the Illinois Sheriff’s Association just expired last month, is concerned with some pending legislation as well as changes in policy in the State of Illinois. Among other things SB2034 is pending in the Illinois legislature. This bill would eliminate cash bail for those arrested for crimes. Sheriff Clague talked about the concern of the ISA and other law enforcement entities in the state regarding public safety. He joined Tom Meredith and Tyler Gumm on “Galesburg’s Morning News”.
