Amidst the chaos created by the spreading Coronavirus it appears Knoxville School District 202 will hire a new superintendent on Friday.
The Knoxville School Board released an agenda Wednesday saying they will meet to approve a superintendent employment contract.
WGIL reported that when the school board hired a search firm in December that they hoped to have Steve Wilder’s replacement selected by March, with him slated to start in July.
Wilder announced in December that he had been hired as Superintendent of Sycamore District 427, near Dekalb in Northern Illinois.
