She says she was working on a plan to try to provide meals to less fortunate Galesburg residents anyway, but Angelica Mangieri, owner of GloBar Juice and Smoothie in downtown Galesburg, says the COVID-19 outbreak accelerated her plans. The end result: hot meals will be available to anyone who needs one, with some rules, as long as the outbreak continues and people need to “shelter in place.” Mangieri and Lisa Revel, who’s helping, talk about “Community Glo” with Will Stevenson on Galesburg’s Evening News.
