Galesburg High School graduate and former Silver Streak athlete Chad Johnson is now nearly 4 years past his professional baseball career. He’s a student at Western Illinois University while also working on his family’s farm. Chad recently had the guts to open up about why he gave up baseball, in a blog for a class at WIU. Chad joined Tom Meredith on “Galesburg Live” to talk about what happened and the stress he played with for most of his last 3 years in the Kansas City Royals organization.
