Knoxville District #202 hired an interim superintendent at their board meeting Monday night. Joe Burgess will take over on an interim basis, officially July 1. He is a 1980 graduate of Knoxville and taught as well as worked as an administrator for both the R.O.V.A. and Galesburg districts. He most recently retired as superintendent at Genoa-Kingston. Joe joined Tom Meredith and Tyler Gumm on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about his career and new position.
