The Knox County Unified Command confirmed 5 additional cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, including in an infant female under the age of 1.
Knox now has a total of 47 confirmed cases according to local authorities.
Other new cases reported today.
● Male in his 40s
● Female in her 50s
● Male in his 40s
● Female in her 30s.
Also, the Illinois Department of Corrections shows that now 9 inmates at Henry C. Hill Correctional Facility have contracted the coronavirus, adding 2 more.
WGIL has reached out to the Unified Command on the number of recoveries, or if those are even able to be tracked, but have received no response.
