A former Galesburg Silver Streak has been making his bones in college basketball for some time. And now, his time has come. Jason Shay is the new men’s head basketball coach of the NCAA Division I East Tennessee State University Buccaneers. Jason takes over a program that posted a 130- 43 record over the past 5 years. He was the offensive coordinator for then head coach Steve Forbes. Forbes moved on as the new head coach at Wake Forest. Coach Shay joined Tom Meredith and Tyler Gumm on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about his career.
