A Little York woman charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a single-vehicle accident on Saturday night.
According to the Illinois State Police, 49-year-old Crystal Yeast was northbound on Illinois Route 135 in rural Warren County when she crossed over both lanes of the road and exited the road to the west.
State police say that around 11:04, her 2013 Chevrolet Cobalt struck a ditch and drove through a fence before coming to a rest in a wooded area.
ISP says she was taken from the scene in an ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
She is being charged with DUI, improper lane usage, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, according to the state police.
