
Scott A. Hall, 49 of Woodhull, Illinois died Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at home with his family by his side. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Friday at Peterson Wallin Knox Funeral Home in Woodhull where memorials may be left to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.petersonwallinknox.com. Private graveside services are Saturday, August 8, 2020, in the North Cemetery, Geneseo, Illinois.
He was born on January 8, 1971, in Spokane, WA to Chuck and Bonnie Fancher Hall. Scott graduated from Galesburg High School in 1989, Illinois College in 1993 receiving a bachelor’s degree in math and physics and attended Bradley University. He married Dee Weisser on September 18, 1999, in the First United Methodist Church in Galesburg. Scott joined the Civil Air Patrol at RAF in Alconbury from 1982-1984 and continued at Hill AFB from 1984-1986 while his stepfather, John LaBua served. He was an electrician at Gates Rubber Company in Galesburg from 1993-1997; lead technician at Butler Manufacturing from 1997-2010 and Lighting Quotes Specialist at VanMeter Inc. from 2011-2020. Scott was an avid football player throughout high school and college. He ran multiple 5Ks, a 10K, and two half-marathons to support local charities. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Wisconsin Badgers football and Cubs baseball. He also enjoyed reading and adventures with Dee.
Survivors include his wife: Dee; father: Chuck (Deb) Hall of FL; step-siblings: JR (Mandy) Andrews of Galesburg; Dawn (Mitch) Leazer; Jake Andrews, both of FL; mother and father-in-law: Mil and Jim Weisser of Geneseo; brothers-in-law: Jamison and Chris (Jeanne) Weisser of Geneseo; aunt and uncle: Donna and Dean Cunningham of FL; cousin: Amber Cunningham of Moline and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents and uncle: Dennis Fancher.
