Former WGIL-WAAG general manager Roger Coleman passed away last week at the age of 89. He was a radio programming innovator in many ways. Long-time local broadcaster Jimmie Carr was hired by Coleman in the late 1960s to do sales and sports color commentary. Jimmie joined Tom Meredith and Tyler Gumm on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about the life and legacy of Roger Coleman.
