Keith Willett, 88, of Oneida, IL passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020, at 10:54 p.m. at his home. He was born on October 1, 1931, in Alexis, IL the son of Floyd and Ellen (Johnson) Willett. He married Mary Miller on November 19, 1955.
Keith is survived by his wife Mary of Oneida; children, Brian Willett of Muscatine, Sherry (Budd) Benson of Oneida and Lori (Robert) Heagy of Basco; grandchildren, Eric Willett, Justin Hare, Shelby Hare, Ian Hare, Taylor Willett, and Emily Heagy; 3 great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son (Dan), and 2 brothers.
Keith was in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954, serving in Korea. He started farming and farmed most of his life. He worked for the telephone Co. in Alexis; he also worked for OMC. He and his wife remodeled houses for the last 20 years. He enjoyed being busy and work with his hands.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a memorial service Thursday, August 20, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at the Wise Family-Hoover Hall Funeral Home Alexis, IL.
