No Official ‘Stearman Fly In’ But You’ll See Them Flying

The annual “Stearman Fly In” will unfortunately not happen this year but that doesn’t mean the Galesburg Municpal Airport won’t be buzzing with the sound of the WWII era biplanes. Many of the pilots will still fly their aircraft here as more of a Stearman vacation. Stearman owner and pilot David Brown will be one of those pilots as he will fly from Virginia. He will also be one of a couple of pilots selling rides, including aerobatic rides. David joined Tom Meredith and Tyler Gumm on “Galesburg’s Morning News” talk talk about the happenings later this week.
