The Knox County Health Department says that there have been 23 new cases of Coronavirus Disease between Friday and Monday.
A release yesterday says that the total number of cases in the county has increased to 502 but due to federal privacy restrictions, the release of any additional information is prohibited.
The 23 new cases include:
- 2 Females 10s
- 2 Male 10s
- 3 Female 20s
- 7 Males 20s
- 2 Females 30s
- 2 Females 40s
- 1 Males 40s
- 2 Females 50s
- 1 Females 60s
- 1 Female 80s
Updated recovery data shows that 88 percent, or 443 cases, are considered recovered while 54 cases, or 11 percent of current cases, are at home recovering. Two people are currently hospitalized.
There have been three total deaths since the start of the pandemic as of Monday.
Recovery is defined by the CDC as a resolution of fever without fever-reducing medications for 24 hours, improvement of respiratory symptoms, and at least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared.
