Knox County reports 3 deaths from COVID, another 28 cases in 24 hours

The Illinois Department of Public Health says that three Knox County residents have died from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours on Wednesday.

IDPH in their daily report of new cases says that two females in their 80’s, and a male, also in his 80’s have died.

To date, 8 people from Knox County have died with COVID-19.

The county’s total of cases is 937 Wednesday after Knox County Health officials announced 143 new cases over the past week on Tuesday.

That was a one-week record of high in new cases in the county.

There were five individuals hospitalized on Tuesday, 49 were recovering at home, while there are 9 unknown cases.

Tuesday Warren County had one death reported, which was their sixth.
