Three more Knox County residents have died after testing for COVID-19 according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
This now makes 12 deaths of Knox County residents, 7 of which have been reported since last Wednesday.
The three deaths Wednesday are a female in her 50’s, a female in her 70’s, and a male in his 90’s.
IDPH tallies also show that Knox County has 85 more cases today than yesterday.
That makes 244 new cases in just the past week, which translates to about 1 in 200 residents having tested positive this week.
Also on Wednesday, a Fulton County male in his 90’s passed away.
