This is the time of year for giving and feeling good. Baylie Mayfield is going to make some other children feel good on Christmas morning is making us feel good through her generosity. Baylie is 8-years-old and a 3rd grader at Mable Woolsey in Knoxville. She started collecting scrap metal to cash in and buy gifts from the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree. To date, she’s purchased gifts for 14 other boys and girls. Baylie and her father Eric Mayfield joined Tom Meredith and Tyler Gumm on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about her adventure.
