Mary Louise Chapman, 91, of Knoxville, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, 11:30 PM, at Courtyard Estates of Knoxville.
Mary was born on November 28, 1929, in Williamsfield. She was the daughter of Merrill and Orpha (Ott) Hart. She married Don R. Chapman on February 1, 1953, in Knoxville. Mary is survived by her children, James Chapman of Florida, Debra (Tom) Grady of Knoxville, and Linda Newcomb of Knoxville; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers.
Mary attended school in Williamsfield. She was a personal banker for First Midwest Bank for 30 years, retiring on December 31, 1994. She was a member of the OAKS, American Legion Auxiliary, and treasurer for the Knoxville Public Library. Mary loved to spend time with her family.
Cremation rites have been accorded. No services are planned at this time. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes and Crematory of Knoxville has been entrusted with arrangements.
