A Galesburg man was killed in an apparent traffic accident that occurred near the Village of Seneca in Grundy County on Sunday.
35-year-old Clarence Collier is the deceased.
WCSJ Radio in Morris, Illinois reported Monday that the incident happened around 7 a.m. on Sunday, December 13th.
The Grundy County Coroner’s office says the vehicle Collier was driving was westbound on West Route 6 when for unknown reasons he lost control of the vehicle.
Collier was transported to Morris Hospital for his injuries by Seneca EMS. He was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after arriving at the hospital.
The death remains under investigation by the Grundy County Coroner and Sheriff’s Department as well as Seneca Police.
