Galesburg Police say they responded to reports of gunshots Monday afternoon, and in one case a woman was shot.
The victim was found in a vehicle parked in a driveway on the 300 Block of West First St., just off of South Academy.
She was transported to Cottage Hospital for treatment but her condition is unknown at this time.
This came after GPD responded just an hour earlier to the area of Brooks St. and Academy for a report of a vehicle that had been shot.
No injuries were found in that case. Police say both of the incidents remain under investigation.
