It started with the Blessing Boxes, expanded to free meal and coat giveaways and has now become a weekly, no questions asked, event through February. Also, the City of Galesburg is letting the group use the building at 120 E. Main St. that they are calling the Blessing Box Depot. That is where you’ll be able to pick up a free meal, among other thing, at “Meals on Main”. Two of the organizers of the event, Champ Coleman and Diane Crock joined Tom Meredith and Tyler Gumm on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about it.
