The Board of Education for District 202 is making plans to bring kids back into classrooms.
The board approved returning kindergartners to in-person learning four days a week starting on Monday
Interim Superintendent for the district, Joe Burgess, told the board on Tuesday that Kindergartners were having a really hard time retaining the information through online methods.
Students will be dismissed at 1 o’clock under Burgess’ plan. The school board agreed to it.
The board also set a tentative date to return all other students to classrooms starting March 15th.
That date is based on when teachers can get their COVID vaccination shots.
