An unnamed 50-year-old Adair, Illinois, man has died following a three-vehicle accident involving truck tractor-trailers.
According to the Illinois State Police, at around 9:42 Tuesday morning, a 2015 red Chevrolet was traveling east on US Route 136, between Table Grove and Ipava, when they crossed the center line and sideswiped a black 2007 Freightliner Truck Tractor Trailer combo that was westbound.
The Chevy then struck a 2020 International Truck Tractor Trailer Combo that was traveling behind the Freightliner head-on.
The driver of the Chevy was pronounced dead while the driver of the International semi was transported to a local area hospital with injuries.
ISP has not identified the driver of the Chevy, pending notification of next of kin.
