An 18-year-old Knoxville man was killed in a traffic collision Monday afternoon after his vehicle apparently crossed into oncoming traffic.
The brief report from Illinois State Police says that a Hyduai being driven by Christopher A. Cuvar Jr. was traveling west on Ilinois 164 in Warren County, a half-mile west of 40th Street, while a Mack garbage truck was traveling in the opposite direction.
The Hyundai crossed the center line and was struck by the garbage truck. Both vehicles had passengers but police don’t give an update on their condition.
An obituary for Cuvar states that a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2021, from 2-4 PM at Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes and Crematory Fellowship Hall.
