The Galesburg Silver Streaks girls basketball team, ranked sixth in the State of Illinois in Class 3A, moved to 7-0 on the season, and 4-0 in the Western Big 6 Conference, after a 54-51 win Friday night over the Quincy Blue Devils.
The Streaks outscored Quincy 22-9 in the first quarter. That had to be enough of a lead, because they were outscored in the other three quarters, but able to hang on for the victory.
